Zlatni rat beach, Bol, Island Brac

Zlatni Rat  Beach, Bol, Croatia
Zlatni Rat is the most famous beach in Bol. It is located about 2 km southwest from the center on an elongated peninsula called, because of its shape, the "Golden Cape". The gently sloping pebbled beach is very popular thanks to its natural conditions (small children and non-swimmer-friendly shores, shade-giving forest) and various outdoor activities including water skiing, a trampoline, pedal boats and beach volleyball. In summer many tourists converge here on the 500 meter long Zlatni Rat. Restaurants, beach bars and snack bars have been established in the nearby pine forest, where metered parking is also available. Bathers can find showers, changing rooms, toilets, lifeguards and parasol and lounge rentals on site.

Bol on the large island of Brac is a vibrant little town, blessed by Croatia's most spectacular beach, the vast, golden shingle sandbar Zlatni Rat. In the summer Zlatni Rat gets crowded (but still manageable) with sunbathers from all over the world and offers a lot of entertainment and activities, wind surfing, jet-skiing, ater skiing, or riding on rubber rings to name a few.
Nightlife in Bol is relaxed. Popular hang out place is Faces Club, a beautiful open-air club where each night 2000 dancers dance until the morning. And if clubs are not your scene there is alwas numerous bars and traditional Konobe, which is can be anything from a small family run wine bar to a restaurant.
